These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WorthIt mobile application ("App") published by Colby Schenck ("WorthIt," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use WorthIt. If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have a parent or legal guardian's permission to use the App and to agree to these Terms. WorthIt is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
To use most features you must create a WorthIt account using email and password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at WorthIt.app@icloud.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion removes your scan history, collections, watchlist, and alerts from our servers within 30 days. Some anonymized analytics and billing records may be retained where required by law.
WorthIt uses camera photos and AI to identify items and then searches public marketplaces (eBay, Amazon, Google Shopping, Mercari, Poshmark, OfferUp, and others) to estimate resale and retail values. WorthIt price estimates are informational only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price, listing, availability, or market condition displayed in the App. You are solely responsible for verifying information and for any decision to buy, sell, list, or price an item.
WorthIt offers a free tier and an optional paid WorthIt Pro subscription.
Current pricing is displayed on the paywall screen inside the App and may vary by region.
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through your iTunes/App Store account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your Apple device. Uninstalling the App does not cancel your subscription.
The 7-day free trial on the Pro Annual plan is available only to users who have not previously subscribed to or trialed WorthIt Pro. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your Apple ID will be charged the full annual price and your subscription will begin automatically. You can cancel anytime during the trial with no charge.
All purchases are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's refund policy. Request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not issue refunds directly.
We may change prices, features, or the structure of Free and Pro tiers at any time. Material changes to a subscription price that affect your current billing period will be communicated in advance; you can cancel before the next renewal if you do not accept the change. Feature changes to the free tier do not entitle you to a refund.

"User Content" means photos, item names, notes, collections, and other data you create in the App. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant WorthIt a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating the App for you (including uploading images to our AI providers for identification and to our storage provider for cross-device sync).
You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring you have the rights to upload it.
The App fetches listings and prices from third-party marketplaces and displays links to those listings. WorthIt does not control, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party content, sellers, or transactions. Any purchase or sale you make on a third-party site is governed by that site's terms, not ours.
The App uses the following third-party services to function: Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude (item identification), Firebase (authentication, storage, analytics), RevenueCat (subscription management), PostHog (usage analytics), and SerpAPI / Scrapfly (marketplace data). By using the App you acknowledge that your data is processed by these providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
WorthIt, the WorthIt name and logo, and the App's design, code, and content are owned by Colby Schenck and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses; that item identifications will be correct; that price estimates will reflect true market value; or that marketplace listings will be accurate or available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COLBY SCHENCK WILL NOT BE LIABLE for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities; or for damages arising out of your reliance on any price estimate, item identification, or marketplace listing displayed in the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Colby Schenck from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in the App or by email. Continued use after the effective date of the new Terms constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
